Attn: UK DIY-ers looking for a multi-meter....

Hi people,

I've just got some stuff from Rapid, and they're doing a multimeter with
DC voltage to 600V, AC to 600V, DC current to 10A, Resistance to 2M,
diode and transistor test to 1000 hFE, with leads and battery for 8.5
UKP plus VAT...a case is 1.9 UKP and the calibration service is 9
UKP.....I've got it's big brother (adds Capacitance and continuity), if
you're looking for a meter that won't break the bank and you need tranny
testing (and lets face it with analogue circuitry you'll always need a
tranny tester) I'd check it out.....Rapid are very good for components
as well...I get 90 percent of mine from them....01206 751166 IIRC the
catalogue costs 3 UKP to normal human beings, but if you get it for a
company it's free.....so lie about it.....
