hello,
I've been playing with the idea of replacing the inards of my Wah Wah
pedal with the Moog ladder filter, and mabey having a LFO in there aswell. I'm
a bit new to electronics so thought this would be a good project to get started
with. ( no eponential conversion or temp comp needed as it will all be
controlled by log pots).
I was hoping somebody could tell me if its worth while, would it sound better
than the pedal filter? The pedal filter is quite simple an inductor, three
transistors and a sprinkeling of capacitors and resistors. Its actualy a Dunlop
Crybaby if anyone knows it.
Has anyone tried a giutar though this filter?
Anyone think of anything else which would be cool and easy to incorperate into
it, or does anyone think it wouldn'd sound too cool on guitar? I'm thiking of
putting :
Resonance pot
LFO shape switch
LFO rate pot
LFO depth pot
on the front of the pedal.
Thanks for reading ( and hopfully replying).
