I had actually worked on one of these many years ago at a NASA site.  It
was in my high school days and we were doing lunar roving vehicle
simulations using a 'scope for output display.  All those knobs, dials, and
patch points!  Maybe this is where people like Bob Moog got their ideas
from!  Similar look & feel, similar size!

The thing was based on op-amp technology and used motorized 10 turn pots
for controlling the various parameters!
