On the subject of Electronic Musician.......
I cancelled my sub to Keyboard because it just became completely irrelevant
to any non-mainstream music, pretty well........and I cancelled Nuts&Volts
simply thru lack of cash.......and I kept Electronic Musician for the
occasional tips........

this might have been a mistake, because Nuts & Volts immediately started
doing analog drum machines!

but my own gripe with Electronic Musician is errors in their rare diy
articles.....like just looking at the ladder filter ckt there are what look
like obvious errors...so what chance is there? And Electronics Now, always
wait a couple of months for the corrections (we've just got the wiring
diagram correction for Jack Orman & Thomas Henry's Mod Box here in Australia).

sure, it's easy to tell other pricks how to run their lives, and I do more
of it than I should, but if I was publishing diy articles I'd give the final
copy to someone with a soldering iron & see if they could get it to
work....and the same for instruction manuals, for God's sake.

The reason there are so few emusic diy articles is because there are so few
readers that can or will construct anything.
