Rob, what sort of 'touch panel' do you mean?
Most 'industrial' stuff here is made by a kind of pcb process with 'dome'
tact switches sandwiched in, like on the front of the Oberheim Matrix 6.
This stuff is plenty tough enough, and there is a certain amount of tactile
feedback (I like to have an annoying beep sound when each button is pushed..
most people definitely don't)

Now what I REALLY REALLY want is tact switches with rectangular, not square,
caps. Like in most 1 unit high rack fx. As far as i can see, this stuff is
special order. Anyone?
