PAIA kits in general

Hi All,

Has anyone built any of the following PAIA kits? Do any of them contain any
hard to find parts? I am thinking of building these as modules for my modular
system.

Fatman
Motion Filter
Roctave Divider
Quadrafuzz
Dual Filter Voicing Unit
Phase Shifter
Envelope Follower

The Fatman I was thinking about as a straight CV/Gate device and not putting
in the MIDI. I e-mailed PAIA about this and I got the answer that I might have
problems getting the Env Gens to work properly If I left the MIDI out.
Hmmmmm... Maybe I should build it as a whole. I would want to make it
propoerly modular i.e. VCO outputs, VCF in, VCF CVin, VCA CV in, EG CV outs
etc. Any thoughts, or should I not bother.

The Roctave divider I am assuming works on a sort of CMOS 4024 chip principle.
Similar in design to the Polyfusion schem that Kevin had on his site maybe?

The Quadrafuzz looks interesting as it has a 2 pole tunable resonant filter
per channel. Any one tried this?

Anyway, any input from you guys over the pond would save me some time and
expense. I would rather buy everything in one go, because this will be
cheaper. Otherwise I'll buy the manuals first and then maybe the PCB's or Kits
later.

Cheers, Dave....
