Hi,
I'm in the process of helping a friend sell a large Serge system
so I've been into it a lot lately. Of course it uses loads of 4mm
banana plugs which stack and provide some very interesting I/O
configurations (cool sounds), but where needed they place 1/4 inch
balanced, unbalanced, XLR and phono jacks. I think it doesn't matter
what your patch protocol is as long as you can make an interface
module. However 2mm banana is getting a little on the dinky side
