Cycles are 64 steps long, and of 8 bit quality.

Kevin has used a larger eprom, allowing more tables to be put into the thing.

As far as I know the DAC0800 is linear...  I used to use one to get 1 V/oct
control of my synth.

I've just finished designing a PCB containing just the wavetable part of the
circuit, so it can be connected to VCO's or DCO's etc. Hopefully I'll be
getting some PCBs back within a couple of weeks. I'm not etching these myself.

The pcb uses 2716, so the digisound ROM can drop right in, or 2732 for those
who want bigger tables. These ROMs are easy enough to get as discards, so
I have no problem using them in designs. Makes projects cheaper!
