Hi, I always buy the miniature type they sell for @75pence because they only need a 6 - 7mm hole drilling for them. They are meant for PCB mount but it easy to wrap a wire round and solder it on. They have a metal shaft, but its quite short so I never bother cutting it. They also take up less space behind the panel. Cheers, Dave...
