Need to do a little patent checking (I think they all expired, but I need to
be REAL sure first!)
Here is a hint on what the first $35 DIY module will be on the website
www.why.net/users/paults
1) Equipment need: 2 mono in/mono out graphic eq.'s
Make, #bands, etc NOT important
3 patch cords
and mono audio source (synth, AM radio, whatever)
2) Take the sliders on the EQ #1 as follows:
UP DOWN UP DOWN...etc from left to right (meaning all the way UP or DOWN)
3) Take sliders on the EQ #2 as:
DOWN UP DOWN UP ...etc
4) Y-cord the mono source into each EQ's input
5) Call EQ#1 out as LEFT and EQ#2 out as RIGHT. Hook to stereo amp/speakers.
6) Play and listen. Write email on how it sounds. This is called a Orban Stereo Field Simulator.
Coming soon: the $35 (actually, more like $9!) version.
