I was hoping this would just die away without forcing me to publicly wipe
egg off my face, but I can see it won't. Of course the Apple machines support
RS-232 through their serial ports. All you need is the right cable and
the right software; most modems work with nothing more than a cable adapter.
I should have thought before I posted; it was the hangover, honest. :-P
