Hi All,

Just taking a breather from Pauls excellent DIGISOUND thread. I'm just putting
the finishing touches to a 3U modular rack. It contains an SSM2044 (Maplin
Kit), PAIA EKx20 VCF, Paia EKx10 ADSR and the Tom Henry PotPourri module. All
fits in nicely, all front panels done and dusted. Everything running swell. I
am just about to fire up the Ekx10 as this is the last module to wire the pots
on.

I have a question regarding the EKx10 for anyone who is familiar with the
CEM3310. On the development board from PAIA, all the A,D,R inputs are CV
summed and buffered by a 4136. The last Op Amp in the 4136 is used to buffer
the CV output. The connection to the Sustain pin goes straight to the edge of
the board and requiresd 0 -5v. Should I buffer this too, just like the ADR
pins? I guess that this pin was left off because they only wanted to include
one chip with the kit... So should I just duplicate the CV summer circuitry on
the ADR pins with a single op amp. Otherwise I will put a 100K and divide down
from the 5 volt rail.

If I want to include a CV in for the sustain pin as well I suppose I should
definately buffer it.

Any thoughts? John... anyone.

Cheers, Dave...
