Some sort of co-operative, or common design users on the DIY list could play
around with would be good, CEM based or not. I am acually designing a PCB
for the wavetable portion of the VDCO at the moment, with changes made where
I feel they could have done better. 

Actually I was lamenting that I missed the whole Digisound era only last night.
I never saw an ad for them. I've only got back into the scene after many years.
