I have a feeling the list is whacked, tried to send this Friday but it
never showed up ...

hi list-

Chris Crosskey has been a great help in getting together the group
order of midi2cv8s for the UK. It's not his fault that the units were
not there Wednesday - I had told him previously that I thought they
would be shipped Friday of last week, but in fact they only went out
yesterday. I'm not sure they would have made it by Wednesday even if
they had gone out Friday the way we were going to ship them for the
special shipping price, but I did upgrade the shipment to DHL so that
the units will be there Monday.

When you UK folks get your units, would you please drop me a line and
give me an email or postal address where we can let you know about
upgrades? We anticipate releasing v2.0 firmware in a couple of months
that will extend some of the modes in v1.0 and add another mode as
well - and since it's our policy to upgrade firmware on our products
without charge I'll need a way to let you know. Or you can just
bookmark our what's new index at www.paia.com/weblog.htm and check
from time to time, new releases of things are mentioned there first.

BTW - great discussion on fav circuits. Wish I wasn't so brain dead
from getting this product together and putting finishing touches on
'97 catalog (it may be out before '98 :-) to participate . Oh well, it
never hurts to just sit back and listen every once in a while ;-)

-John
