Power Supply Transformers

Hey I just went there a couple weeks ago and bought one of these
transformers. No kidding! (they're about a 20-minute drive from where
I live). These transformers are a real good buy - no pinout docs but
easy enough to figure out. Plenty of ooomph for a large system dual-15
supply. Sure beats going out and buying a $40 Triad...

Everytime I go there I have to divert my eyes as I walk down the isles
so I don't end up with an armful of stuff as I leave.

To anyone looking for a 36VCT transformer to make a +-15V power supply:

All Electronics 800-826-5432 (www.allcorp.com) has 36VCT 2.8A transformers
available. These are surplus Signal transformers that look like they are
decent quality. For you non-continental folks, they have dual 115/230VAC
primaries. Price $12.50 each (US). Part Number TX-3628.

They also have a range of 12VCT transformers from 1A to 5A, prices $4.50 to
$11.00 each (US). Sorry, but these don't look like dual primaries.

Other things of interest -

100K Dual Log pots (Bourns plastic pot), $1.25 each.
BIG heatsinks for those regulator ICs, $4.50 each.
6' MIDI cables $1.25 each.
Single Side 4"x6" PC Boards .062" thick, 2.00 each.

And lots more!

I've dealt with these folks and their service (IMHO) is excellent and
     professional.
