I was very suprised how well the System 700 pitch to voltage converter
worked.
Using a simple microphone, it tracked the pitch and envelope of voice and
whistling very well.
Gentle Electric (not General Electric) did P/V converters for Aries, Serge,
Polyfusion, etc in the 70's and 80's.
I have about 10 sets of Polyfusion's pitch to voltage unit, designed by them,
however I have NO schemos whatsoever. The closest thing I have is GE's
schemos to the old Serge unit (which Rex Probe was very nice to send me-
thank you!).
Anyone have any schemos for the Polyfusion models?
Has anyone else had my crazy idea of taking a guitar synth's hex pickup and
sending the individual strings to assorted processing devices and speakers
for crazy, spatial guitar playing?
I've always wanted to hear what this setup would sound like (amonst others)-
hex pickup --> hex dist --> six VCF's- six amps and speakers...

Mad, huh? :)
