Midi-CV converter

Recently I bought a Philip Reese Little-MCV Midi to CV converter.
I have found that there is a delay in the gate signal when you play
legato. This makes it very difficult to use. You can never play more
than one key at a time.

Does anybody have any experience with this converter?
