Well, "Part 2" means:
Meanwhile, I actually bought this CS-50 ! I didn't intend to,
but the price was so cheap (DM 400,-) that I could not
resist.
Hmm, and as soon as I carried it out of the store to my car,
I was *happy* that it was no -60 or -80 (;->)
I tuned it last night, and it is really wonderful. Many people
complain about tuning CS synths (and I really don't know
how hard it is on a CS-80), but tuning the CS-50 was fun:
*No* iterative adjustment of offset, scale and HFT, as I know it
from V/oct synths, but just tuning highest note, lowest note,
and 4 transposition switches. Easy!
BTW, it has a nice aftertouch action (optoelectronic).
There are a few sliders that don't work perfect. Does anybody
happen to have replacements for these ? (Should be the same
ones as in CS-60 and CS-80 ...)
Also, it would be fine to have the complete User- und Service
Manuals ...
JH.
