Bernie himself defending himself

Rick Jansen asked that we stop this thread, so here's one last post
from me, in response to Thierry's question:

If you want to build an analog synthesizer, Electronotes is essential.
It is definitely worth the price. It contains old-fashioned low-cost
low-quality transistor circuits, just for curiosity value. It contains
hard-to-find Curtis and SSM chip based circuits, because Curtis and
SSM started in Electronotes. Above all it contains original and
interesting circuits, that are as professional as Serge modules and
maybe even better (oooh strong words I know...). In other words, it
contains all types of circuits. It also contains a lot of theory of
design, and of other related topics like psychoacoustics, interviews,
     and even record reviews.

Probably I should mention that my original distribution of the PCC was
verbally authorized by Bernie via telephone over one year ago. Perhaps
he doesn't remember, and to be honest I don't really remember the
actual verbage used. I do remember mentioning an "email list" which
didn't seem to have a big impression at the time. However he is
perfectly proper in his requests, so let honor be our guide here. This
thing may have well gotten out of control beyond his or my
     expectations.

And I do think that there is something to the idea that email list
discussions, and maybe even web site tidbits, could be his best
     advertising ever....

Hello,

I just would like to ask a silly question:
What is so interesting in "Electronotes" ?
Is that worth its price ?

I am particularly interested in knowing what are the contents:
- old fashioned low-cost low quality transistor circuits
or
- hard to find Curtis and SSM chips based circuits
or
- Original and interesting circuits ?
