Hello,

I have ordered and received a few patents from the US Patent & Trademark Office.

Amongst them, there is the patent 580.035:
Art of and Apparatus for Generating and Distributing Music Electrically
By Thaddeus Cahill 1897.
This is really stunning : it discribes a 6 partial/voice additive organ
having velocity sensitive keyboard !


I also received patent 4.018.121 ... John Chowning's patent.
It fully describes the TTL circuits for building a two operator
FM generator...


I think that patents are really an interesting data ressource for synth-DIY.
Maybe, we can list patent references and comments on a Web page so that
people can order interesting stuff from USPTO (3$ per patent copy including
US postage...).
