UK Goverment Surplus? Where?

Hi all,

Not totally SYNTH-DIY, but synth workshop equipment related.

I just did a web search for Goverment Surplus and looks like you guys n gals
in the states have it all sewn up nicely. What a bout us poor starving 3rd
worlders here in the UK?

Anybody have any pointers to goverment surplus auctions? I've seen the places
in the electronics mags like Anchor Surplus in Nottingham, but they can be a
litle expensive. I used to go there years ago when they had spare submarine
parts at all manner of weirdnez, now they have gone a tad up market....

I just thought I suss out a few of the places that are around selling cheap
electronic workshop equipment ( I'm not looking for anything particular at the
moment, just looking for the future).
