CS-30 (or other CS-Mono) circuit detail ?

Unfortunately the CS30 uses a dedicated monophonic controller (YM24800) rather than the YM26600
used in the CS50,60,80.

I checked all the manuals for information on how to reduce the number of voices assigned and there is no more information than you
posted. 

CS60/80  K01-K08 and Mode to -6V5 via 22K resistors
CS50   K06-K08 and Mode to +8V5 via 22K resistors
