One comment about PCB layouts: I prefer putting all of the panel wires on one side of the PCB, if possible, or at least keep all wires on the edges. The reason for this is when troubleshooting the circuit (and you will have to troubleshoot!) you don't have to fumble with a bunch of wires that are covering up components. Romeo
