Personally, I am going for the highly mysterious knobs and jacks and 
no lables look.  I mean, I designed it, I know where everything is.

It just makes the whole panal look so much more... um, impressive.
Kinda like that black monolith in 2001.

Or, more likely, I am just lazy.

The current non-labeled panal looks pretty darn cool, though.
