I looked into this for my Casio CZ1000, but was unable to find a
replacement part that fit my specs, and had to drop it at that. It seems
to me that, if one was able to find a suitable replacement, and perhaps
by adding power for the backlight, the swap sounds fairly trivial.
Some might argue I have no idea what I'm talking about, however, since I
have never performed such an operation.
