Power supply?

The power supplies in computers (also known as "switching power
supplies") can be used. Many synth modules that are out nowadays use
smaller versions of their computer cousins.
However, my experience with them are that they tend to be rather
"noisy". I'm sure that this can be gotten around by a few well placed
regulators/capacitors/whatever.
Your experience may vary from mine.
