Ladder Filter Blues

        Hello everyone!

I've got a simple question ... Has anyone built the diode ladder filter

that is NOT from the '303 - I think it might be the AKS copy?

The reason I ask is because I built it from the schematic from "?'s"

(I don't remember his name) homepage, and I can't seem to get it to

work quite right - namely, the resonance control doesn't make it self-

oscillate, and it isn't very "rezzy" sounding even at high resonance

settings! Anyone know of any mistakes in the schematic? Also, if

anyone knows which filter I speak of, anybody know of a "common"

transistor to use in place of the BC### transistors it calls for?

I just used "garden variety" NPN's (2N3904/2N2222), and figure that

this *might* be the culprit! ANY information is welcome!!!!

                          thanx in advance -

                                       -Duane
