Ring modulators

As I remember it, I bought a bunch of 1496's from JameCo electronics for
less than a dollar each.

I am still looking for 1595's though.

What are the differences between 1494, 1495, 1496, 1595, etc?

Also the SG-3402 is a single supply unit.

I also have a non powered, passive design for one on my website in the
schematics section.
It works pretty well too for something that needs no power.
