I will need 4 ring modulators in my frequency shifter. As the
*linearized* gilbert cells (MC1495) seem to be no longer available,
and AD's 4-quadrant multipliers are too expensive IMO, I will
use a 1-quadrant multiplier (RC4200) and a resistor matrix,
just as described in Barry Klein's book and also used in Ric
Millers synths.

PS.: Does anybody know why they still manufacture the 1496,
        but not the linearized 1495 ?? Just wondering ...
