MaxiKorg modding

I posted a previous message about modding my MaxiKorg on AH but I thought
I'd see if there was any interest in discussing it here.  Right now I have a
schematic but no service docs.  The schematic is nice but I don't have a
scope and I have a pretty crummy multimeter so if I hade the service docs, I
might be able to sort things out better.

I also have some notes on the Kenton mod for adding CV/Gate and filter CV
ins for the MiniKorg.  I'd previously been told that the Maxi is basically
two Mini's in one synth but after comparing the mod diagrams with my Maxi, I
now see they have completely different PCB's AND different numbered IC's.
In other words the Kenton mod isn't as much help as I thought it might be.

The first step is the obvious.  The thing DEFINATELY needs CV/Gate inputs.
Secondly, I'm going to rack the thing.  It's made of several small PCB's
that are screaming to be racked (esp. since the synth is unnecessarily
large).  Then I'll slowly pull out patch points as I learn more about how to
do this properly.

Please let me know if you're interested in helping me with this as I've
never had any experience doing such a thing.
