SH101 + PCB's

Hi people,

I've been on this list for quite some time now, yet never got around 
to start building things. But now's gonna be my first time! :) I would like 
to add some modifications to my Roland SH-101, but I've 
got no schematics of this machine. Could anyone help me with this?

Apart from that, I was wondering: are there ways to make a PCB 
without having to deal with a tank, air pump and  chemical 
stuff to etch it?
