Just a note that I've found that a 4093 hex schmitt seemed to work better
than a 4011 in the Paia Shepard generator.
Seemed to obtain a wider clocking range. Same pin out.

I've also run the Shepard with 8 VC'd phasors (Sys-100m) and it's almost
"too much" sound!
It would probably be neater with 4 channels (or more) of amps and speakers.
