Buchla 8038 oscilator

Dear all,

	Could someone tell me if the VCO
that was made by buchla that used the 8038
(Etc oscilator?) was 1v/oct ??.. I got the
diagram and its front end looks too complicated
to be linear.. (3 diodes)
	Please could someone whos either got
one of these or has played with one let me
know???
