I wonder if anyone familiar with the differences in nonlinearities between tube and transistor circuits or whatever it is that makes tube amps sound so good could comment on whether
a tube 4 pole lowpass would sound any different that the solid state filters we have now?  As
we all know, the filter is the heart of any synth's sound, maybe a tube filter would be an entirely 
new "classic" filter, like the JP-8 or moog.
