(Now what happened to the rest of this post? I'll try it again...)
Thanks, Gene.
I'm in a great mood, it's Friday and the sun is shining in Michigan! I
said to myself, "Hey, why stop there?"
How about the Hammond's release velocity sensitivity? If you slip your
fingers off the edge, the spring & pad action causes the key to bounce
causing a rapid succession of repeated notes, with fewer of those 9
contacts striking each time. ("Fly Like an Eagle" Steve Miller)

Then there's the bullet-proof material they made the keyboard from. B-3
keyboards stood up to a velocity range of 0 to 127000! On gigs, I control
a Voce V3 from a DX7 and have had to replace many broken keys! :-|
Wire the power switch to not immediately shut down the power supply.
Rather, trigger generator pitch and volume envelopes like this...

Wire a momentary switch that has to be held on for 15 seconds before
turning on the power switch. Make no sound at all if otherwise it done.
Put the whole thing in a maple cabinet and make it weigh 435 pounds.
(Only for those who believe the Minimoog's sound is more influenced by the
wooden box than the VCF) :-) :-) :-)
Have a great weekend, everybody! Stay hip! Bob.
