Paia "MIDI Drum Brain"

Hi Lists,

I need something that will convert trigger outs to MIDI note numbers. I want to 
be able to use an multi-position rotary switch to choose what MIDI note number 
gets sent for the incoming trigger. It seems as though the Paia MIDI Drum Brain 
should be able to do this - with a little modification. Has any body built 
this? You can program it, right? How?

It doesn't really matter because I need it quick and I've already placed an 
order...
