Right. That's why I said the two and 4 are easy. It's the 3 and 5 that are 
difficult. The 3 goes "on" <<between>> the bit 0 turning off and the bit 1 
turning on.

Thanks for all the suggestions on this folks, glad I sparked some interest. As 
Don said I can see it's going to be a good learning experience :).
