Easytrax is what I used to make the ASM-1. It'll go up to six layers
of traces plus power & ground planes plus silkscreen on a max size of
32" by 32". The FTP download from the web site includes a utility
program to convert the .PCB file into Gerber files for each layer, so
you can have professional films made at a photoplotting house. I think
they moved on to Windows support so their old DOS stuff is free. Such
     a deal.

Hey maybe if we get a bunch of people on DIY to use the same artwork
package, we can email .PCB files to each other! I've already done the
Electronotes tri-square VCO and the 4-pole VCF but I don't want to go
out for PCBs until this ASM-1 thing blows over. If we pool resources
maybe we can come up with a fairly complete selection of modules.

     Just a thought....

I have used Easytrax. All manual routing, but good results, and easy to
work with.

Do a web search on "protel.com"
