You're probably right, but if you've had to listen to producers,
keyboard players, and even techs saying that "the Minimoog sounds like
it does because of its filter" or "Moog synths are superior because of
the patented filter" for 20+ years, then you're likely to write in a
"provocative" or "inflammatory" manner.

Moog made great synths, but so did ARP, Oberheim, and many others.

Like Graham says:
"Robert Moog got the lion's share of the credit like anybody who is first
at something and rightly so, but it's long overdue that all these others
got recognition for their valuable contributions."

I guess synths are like cars: we just can't stand it when someone
critisises our favourite baby. :)
