Arp Odyssey Sliders

I've just today aquired an Arp Odyssey, which has a couple of
problems, but didn't cost too much (ukp 225 including full flight
case). First, and simpler, is that many of the sliders aren't running
very smoothly (although they all have caps :), probably due to the
synth being out of use a while I guess. Can anyboy suggest a
lubricant to use on them, or would that be a bad idea?
Secondly, one of the keys has broken and this has caused problems
with the contacts on that key...I'm thinking of sending the machine
for repair at some point to deal with this, but for now I'd like to
run it by CV/Gate and the question is what type of lead do I need?
The sockets seem to be roughly mini-jack in size but I'm not
convinced they are _exactly_. Can anyone fill me in?
Martin
