As far as I understand, the problem with the 8038 is that its
transistor/resistor sine waveshapper array warms it up.
I get interested in the 566 mainly because it doesn't have this
array. The internal circuit of the 566 is a triangle oscillator
based on an integrator and a schmidt trigger... much like many
discrete VCOs. One can add a CA3046 exp generator to obtain
oct/V control.
So, what is the true problem with the 566 ?
