Other than ROM (for the CPU code) and RAM (for any temporary notes
storage you might want to imply; ie, notes "remembered"), no for a
single MIDI-CV. For multiple MIDI-CVs, you might need to bus the
signals, but that would be the only addition. 

As soon as I get more digital programming experience under my belt, in
fact, I was thinking of building one. I haven't found a MIDI-CV for
under $170... that's way too high for something that simple in my
opinion... the hardest part is coding the PROM/PAL/whatever you use...
