Tempco Resistors

I tried to get some samples last year but I never got them.
Electronics distributors tend to be bad in the sense that if there's
ever a snag in the sample-order process it just gets lost.

If a bulk order were to be placed, what would be the popular value?
There's 1K, as seen in the Oberheim SEM. The favorite in Electronotes
was 2K, because when used as feedback resistor in a standard 100K
input summer, it gives you close to the required 18mV/octave
exponential transistor base drive voltage. Also, it the optimum tempco
     +3300ppm/C'? I've seen +3000 used before...

Does any one know a good source for tempco's . I've had some from KRL but their
minimum order is 100$.
