Analog Devices VCA ???

Am I the last one to notice the SSM2018 from Analog Devices? I was
looking through the AD net page and found this thing, called up
their sales force and found that it is easily available and cheap.

It is a VCA ship, providing no-trim use through laser trimming
at manufacture. It's exponential at -30mv/db.

Looks great for general VCA use. Did everyone else already know about
it??? It also has G and 1-G outputs, so a voltage controlled panner
is a natural application.

They're available in 1's from stock from Future Active Industrial for
$3.50 each.

Anyone already used one?
