I have noticed these two. They call them (from memory) an
operation transconductance element and a VCA is just one of the
possible configurations. There is an over-simplified version of a VCF
(bandpass) on the data sheet.
Also of interest are the SSM2018T which, while they are more expensive, do
not require external trimmers for CV cancellation and distortion
reduction.
