I wouldn't feel that badly (or certainly not as badly as I feel now, 
remember never to contract a digestive illness during summer): with the 
half dozen 303 clones that are out on on the market, not one of them 
sounds like a TB-303 for the exact same reason.  So if several instrument 
manufacturers overlooked including the sequencer in products they 
actually let themselves bring to market, such an oversight is surely 
forgivable in a hobby.
