A Complex Waveform Generator

My implementation uses a 4 bit XOR feedback shift register driven by a
VCO capable of high frequencies. The taps are controlled by switches
that either ground the respective XOR input or allow the shift
register data through to the XOR input. This allows setting up 16
different patterns of changing bits. Each shift register bit output
is connected to the tap of a pot. The ends of the pot are each
connected to separate opamps, one side of the pot to the inverting
input, the other to the noninverting. This allows assigning each bit
position a voltage, postitive or negative. A bit position can be
turned off by centering it's pot.

Anyway, twisting the knobs has been fun, but this one needs to be made
permanent. As soon as it's all done, I will put the schematics on
Music/Machines.
