Stupid question about synth power-supply!!!

You need 3A to run a synth??  Anyway, even if you do, there are alot of 
companies that build power supplies: Condor, Acme Electric, Power One, Sola, 
Oryx, etc.  There are several supplies available that do +15/-15/+5 that are 
very popular for circuits using both op-amps and logic. 

I wouldn't worry amount magnetism too much, especially if the PS is in its 
own chassis.
