New Email Address

For those of you who are interested, I have signed up with a new
service provider.  I have several documents in the Music/Machines
archive which are marked with my old address:

              chordman at ix.nectom.com  (aka Synthaholic)

My new address is:

              chordman at concentric.net

The Netcom address will vaporize as of the end of the month.

As I update the Music/Machines archive, I will change the email
address on those documents.

DIY content:

My new VCO came off the solderless bread board and jumped onto a hand
wired protoboard.  Works great, except that it must run on +/-15
volts.  When I tried it on +/-12, it wouldn't oscillate.  I have to
build yet another supply.  That makes 7 in all :(  Oh well, it sounds
good.  Has a 5 octave range switch, glide control, fine and coarse
pitch controls.  It's real purpose is a VCO CMOS clock for a complex
sound generator experiment and a voltage controlled noise gen.  The
noise part works too, but it's still on the solderless breadboard.
The VCO is CV driven by a PAiA FatMan.
