it's time, but is it the place??

i finally recieved a 606 to sacrifice in an attempt to fuse it to my
cr-8000, in such a way that the 606 will trigger 7 sounds of the 8000 plus
the accent (the accent is going to be a bit tricky), but should have some
"patchability" to is in case there is another of the 8000's 15 (or so) sounds.

anyway, i guess i just want to know if this is the place to talk about mods
like this, because there are a few things that are somewhat complex that i
may need a little info on, but for the most part i know what i need to do.
if there needs to be some actual building of some things to be considered an
appropriate topic on this list, then that's no problem, since i've already
got some of the necessary circuits alreay built. so, is this right the place?
